On the afternoon of April 15, 2019, a fire started in Notre Dame Cathedral. The French police believes that an electrical short-circuit was the cause. Throughout the night, for about 15 hours, the whole world followed the firefighters' struggle to put out the fire, wondering what — if anything — would survive.

We now know that the spire and the wood structure of the ceiling are gone, but the organ, the three rose windows and many of the relics and art objects have been saved. The videos and links below are a compilation of the media coverage of the tragedy and its aftermath.
