First museums in Austria reopen

On May 15, Austria counted 79 new cases of COVID-19 — the country's epidemiological curve had peaked on March 27, with 1.001 new cases. It looked as though the worst had passed, and the government decided to start the gradual reopening of establishments, cultural institutions included. Most of them had been closed for over 60 days, since March 11.
